Mehmet Kaptan Bensen

Mr. Mehmet Kaptan Bensen was born and grew up in North London. He studied Law at the Eastern Mediterranean University, graduating in 2000. He was called to the TRNC bar in 2002 and worked for two well known law firms in Nicosia and Kyrenia. He also worked for the TRNC Attorney-General and took part in the making of some Laws which were to be used in the settlement of the Cyprus problem. He then established his own Law office in November 2004. He has approached courts in all districts of north Cyprus for urgent interlocutory relief on short notice, obtaining orders for urgent relief and pursued damages claims in contractual disputes arising from breaches and repudiation of contracts. He also has been successful in Criminal and Civil case trials and in obtaining substantial damages, compensation, injunctions and ancillary relief in commercial disputes, personal Injury claims, negligence claims, family cases and has recovered many unpaid debts. Mr. Mehmet is fluent in English and Turkish.
